What will he ask me next??
Funny conversation with Isaac today......
Isaac: "Mommy, do bears and tigers poop?"
Me: "Ummm....yes...."
Isaac: "Do they poop in the grass?"
Me: "Yes.....all animals poop outside in the grass."
Isaac: "But we poop in the toilet, right?"
Me: "Yes!"
Isaac: "And we're God's sheep, right?"
Me: "Yes...."
Isaac: "So, when we're God's sheep, we poop in the grass?"
Me: "NO! We don't ever poop outside or in the grass!"
Isaac: "But, if we're God's sheep, we have to poop outside because we're sheep."
Me: "It's an analogy that we are sheep. It's kind of like pretend. We aren't REALLY sheep. God just calls us his sheep. So, we NEVER poop outside."
Isaac: "Oh....."

Some recent videos of Malachi
Malachi eating his 1st birthday cake.
Malachi is finally crawling at 1 year old!
We went to the Hard Luck Diner in Branson, MO., and one of the waiters sang to Malachi. All of the waiters take turns singing while you eat.

Love at first sight???
My friend Jill and I have been friends for several years now. Her daughter Ally is 4 months older than Isaac. We have hung out alot since the two of them were born and they have become good friends too. Almost TOO good of friends. Can love start to blossom at the young age of only a few months old??
Ally: "Isaac says that I'm his girlfriend."
Me (sarcastically): "Isaac, you guys are too young to be talking about girlfriends and boyfriends. Ally is your good friend that is a girl, but not your girlfriend."
Isaac: "But I like Ally."
Me: "That's good that you like her, but she's not your girlfriend."
Isaac: "Yes, she's my girlfriend, cuz I like her."
Ally: "When we grow up we are going to get married."
Isaac to Ally: "But there is another girl that wants to marry me. Her name is Jocelyn."
Ally: "Well when we grow up we are going to get married. And I am going to get a wedding dress. And if she gets a wedding dress and tells you that she is going to marry you, you need to say something to her because I am going to marry you."
Isaac: "I am going to get a black suit and marry you."
At this point, Jill turns to me and says "I think it's time for us to go because we are going to be deciding on cakes soon if we don't break up this conversation!"
Ally: "Isaac, after we get married we have to get a house. We will have to build a house. And then we will sleep together."
And now Jill says to me "OK! We definitely need to go now!"

~~~~~ Jump ahead 4 years to the present ~~~~~
A conversation that took place tonight between the two of them (as best as I can remember it because Jill and I were laughing so hard through most of it).Ally: "Isaac says that I'm his girlfriend."
Me (sarcastically): "Isaac, you guys are too young to be talking about girlfriends and boyfriends. Ally is your good friend that is a girl, but not your girlfriend."
Funny Conversations.....
We have had several funny conversations with Isaac since Malachi was born. I've been writing them down but thought I should post them here. You should get a few laughs out of these...I know we did!!
1) On the way home from the hospital, Malachi was crying in his car seat. And Isaac leaned over and looked at him and said "Malachi! That's enough!". This came from times when Isaac was crying for no reason and we told him "That's enough!".
2) During another one of Malachi's first car rides, Isaac yelled "Mommy, Malachi's doing something!" We didn't know what was wrong so we pulled the car over to see. Malachi had just spit up a little but Isaac thought it was something bad wrong!!
3) After bringing Malachi home, we would sit and talk to him -- things like "I love you" or "What are you doing?". Or I would talk to Isaac and say things like "I love you" or "What are you doing?". After we would say things to either one of them, Isaac would then ask "Me? or Malachi?". If we told him we were talking to him he would then ask "Me? the talking one?". We don't know where he came up with "the talking one" but it was SOOOO funny!
4) Another thing Isaac has had a hard time grasping is that babies sleep ALOT! He always says "Malachi needs to wake up...it's morning time...it's not dark outside.... he needs to wake up!".
5) This one doesn't have anything to do with Malachi but I thought it was funny. We just bought a new vehicle. While we were looking, we had driven through one of the car dealerships. A few days later, we were driving on the street that goes in front of the car dealerships. Isaac said "Mommy? you remember we went and looked at those cars?" I said, "yes". Isaac -- "But you don't need a new car...you already have a car. Daddy doesn't need a new car....he already has a car. I don't have a car....I NEED a new car!" I just about died laughing at that. So, we bought our new car....Jason traded his WRX in and was VERY sad about that! So, Isaac told me after that "I will buy daddy a new blue car and then he will be happy!" Too funny!
I could write pages and pages of the silly conversations we have with our 3 year old. It never ends. Even when we are having a bad day we can still laugh cuz he will say something like these things I have shared with you!
Baby's name
After much deliberation I think we have finally agreed on the name for the baby. We have been set with Malachi as the first name since we found out we were having a boy but just could not agree on a middle name. We wanted something that was a family name -- Isaac has two family names so we figured this child needs at least one family name!! So, we talked and we talked and we talked some more but just could not agree on anything -- Malachi David, Malachi Henry, Malachi Jason, Malachi Lynn, Malachi Michael, and the list goes on. But the other day my suggested that we combine our two names and make a name for him but I thought that was kinda dumb at first -- what would it be?? Jarah?? Sason?? I thought that it was a dumb idea but the more I thought about it I came up with Jay. "J" for Jason and "ay" for my middle name Kay. So, I think it is official -- MALACHI JAY FRAZIER!!! I'm so glad the discussing is done!!!
We posted this on facebook just to see what ideas others had -- it is VERY funny reading everyone's ideas!!
My New Hairdo!!
So, I've been growing my hair out for over 2 years now. I wanted to cut it off for Locks of Love. After I grew it out long enough to cut it off (1o inches), I decided I liked my long hair so, I didn't cut it for a couple of months. But I decided a couple of weeks ago that I was ready to cut it off. So, here's pictures of my new haircut. I'm still trying to get over the shock -- it is SO short!!
Six Things about me...
My friend Arlene "tagged" me -- so I guess I'm supposed to tell six things about myself. So, here goes....
1. I was born into a Pastor's family -- the oldest of three girls. I actually enjoyed being a PK. The only bad part was people expecting more out of me than their own kids. We are all sinners so guess what? ... we all sin! Wow! what a concept. But other than that I liked it -- not like I really knew any different. I enjoyed all the Pastor's fellowship meetings we went to -- Preachers are crazy men -- you see a different side of them than when they're preaching -- it's pretty funny!
2. I was homeschooled -- and contrary to popular belief I did have a social life --we did leave our house every once in awhile! I loved being homeschooled -- I hope to homeschool my kids. We'll see if I have the patience but I think I will. I love watching Isaac learn new things so I think it will be fun.
3. I have never had a drink of alcohol or smoked a cigerette. People think that's crazy but I'm proud to say that I've never done these things. Praise the Lord I don't have to deal with addiction to these things and have to try to quit. It has never even been something I've wanted to try -- the smell of smoke and alcohol makes me sick so there has never been a desire to try them.
4. I am a Hairstylist -- been doing hair now for 10 1/2 years!! That I cannot believe. I love doing hair -- it is definitely a passion of mine. One time I went to our church youth camp as the counselor and I told the girls "don't even ask me to do your hair, I'm on vacation" -- I couldn't stand it -- by the end of the week I was asking to do their hair. I missed it!
5. My middle name is KAY and whenever I tell people my middle name they always say "not your middle initial, what's your middle name?" I then say "Kay". And we go through this about 2-3 more times before I finally say "Kay...K...A...Y!!" Then they feel pretty dumb!! :-)
6. One of my greatest fears -- knives. I cannot watch other people cut things with a knife -- I especially can't watch movies where someone is fighting with a knife or gets stabbed with a knife. It just sends shivers up my back. It really freaks me out. Jason likes to tease me by taking a knife and rubbing across his hand -- I can't stand it! Just thinking about it now is freaking me out!
So, there's a few silly facts about me. Now I will tag a couple of people...
Sarah Palin
So, we had to dress up for Halloween at work yesterday. Since I don't celebrate Halloween and what it stands for, I decided to do something political and dressed as Sarah Palin. It was a fun day and EVERYONE knew who I was and just kept saying I looked just like her. She is a great woman and I was proud to dress as her.
What level reading is your blog?
I got this from Arlene's blog and thought it was cute! I'm glad to know I write at least at a High School level. Since I did graduate High School -- contrary to what society believes about home-schooled children. The question that's sometimes asked "How did you graduate High School?" I always want to say "I don't know ... How did YOU graduate High School?"
